Corn Season is ON!

Ready corn lovers?

Golden Sweet Corn is ready!  We are opening our Komoka stand tomorrow morning at 9am!

Strathroy will open on Friday.....


Did you know that Golden Sweet Corn makes an awesome snack?  Try it raw....you'll be amazed.  Of course if you love melted butter on it......please feel free to cook it, but be careful not to cook it too long.  Laura's favourite way is to put it straight into a large pot of boiling water and take it out as soon as the water comes back to the boiling point.  Yum!

Irrigation anyone?

This post written by Laura:  All I can say is that the guys are exhausted, they'll be starting another round of irrigation tonight to ensure that our corn and veggies are as lush and juicy as they can be when they hit our stand! 

After a weekend of wild weather in the London area, our farms barely got a few drops of rain.......crazy when you consider what some other local areas received - so they will be firing up the irrigation reels at sunset tonight.
