Bring On the Heat!

Golden Sweet Corn loves heat - the last few chillier nights, though we humans love them, slow down the ripening of the corn........apologies to those of you who missed out on our corn yesterday as we had a limited supply.  Today should be a better day, but then, it's a Saturday and if you've ever visited the stand on a Saturday, you will know that the stand is a zoo and the corn and veggies are just flying off the stand!

On the veggie side of things, Joc's home-grown cukes, dills, zucchinis, peas, beans (yellow and green), and even his own hot house tomatoes.  Field tomatoes are ripening and should be available soon.  Don't miss the chance to pick up some of his amazing garlic and beets too!  All grown on the Komoka farm.  We are also featuring peppers from Union and local blueberries.  For those of you who have been looking for potatoes, those should be returning to our stand in the coming days......

We have to thank all of you who have visited the stand.....it's wonderful to see smiling familiar faces as well as meet new folks who stop by.  We love hearing how happy you are that our fresh corn and produce is back.......if you are reading this, why not leave us a note here and share your thoughts with our other readers!?

Here's to a great season!
