First day of corn sales - a fantabulous success!

We were only open at our Strathroy stand today and it was amazing to welcome back some familiar faces and welcome new folks as well. Komoka is opening tomorrow.....or Komokaland as we call it at the corn stand! Both stands will be open at 9am tomorrow (Friday).....quantities may be a bit limited, so don't wait until the end of the day to come out! A reminder about parking at the Komoka stand, please turn into the laneway and park on the left-hand side, nose in against the field. Looking forward to welcoming back some of our returning Corn Girls and gearing up and training our new Corn Girls!

....and.....we are featuring

not only our incredible Golden Sweet corn, but also our very own cherry tomatoes and cukes on the stand tomorrow! Green and yellow string beans will follow by the weekend!

Let the Season Begin!

Golden Sweet Corn lovers - it's time! Our Strathroy stand opens tomorrow - Thursday, July 24th - 9am! Our Komoka stand will most likely open on Friday, July 25th....stay tuned for confirmation tomorrow on that one! Let the craziness begin - Tony has done a bang-up job with this year's crop - it looks incredible! ....and the returning corn girls and new corn girls alike are excited to start off this season!

Stay tuned, Golden Sweet Corn fans! We're about to open......just another few short days and our crop will be gracing our stands in Strathroy and Komoka! Mother Nature was kind enough to turn the heat up, and that's exactly what our lovely corn needs! We can't wait to see your smiling faces again!

Is It Spring Yet!?

Yay, we've finally put the worst of winter behind us for 2014......yes, we know, we might see a little bit of white stuff tonight and tomorrow, but it is spring! The robins are back, heck, we even found a toad in the garden over the weekend! Farmer Tony is getting ready to start his field work....this is a clear sign that spring is here and that means that corn season is on the horizon!
